Late Shri P. P. Singhal being great visionaries with sharp business acumen & clairvoyance had the burning urge to consolidate & serve the business community of Southern Rajasthan & promote the interest of trade & Industry while contributing for the development of Southern Rajasthan. As a result of it, in 1965 the founded Udaipur Industry & Commerce Association (UICA) which has emerged as an apex organisation & main spokesman of the state’s business community. The UICA adapted its Constitution in 1968-69 & subsequently registered in the Rajasthan Non Trading Companies Act ( Act 13 of 1960) on February 12, 1979.

Udaipur Chamber has established itself as a stable, strong and dynamic apex organization of trade and industry in Rajasthan, with a glorious history of presence in the service of Rajasthan and the country. Acting as a catalyst in building Rajasthan through its network of 300 members and business associations spread all over the State, UCCI is regarded as a paradigm of state integration. While growing to serve and serving to grow, the Chamber over the last 5 decades could attract a huge membership strength. It has emerged as the biggest regional chamber in the Rajasthan with large servicing base and commanding considerable, standing, reputation and respect not only locally but also nationally.
 

WHERE IT STANDS TODAY
With a continues thrust of providing effective & efficient service to the members & with a conscious effort towards overall development of Rajasthan in particular & the country at large UCCI dedicated itself in developmental promotional activities & obtained due representation almost all the Central, State, Divisional & District Level Advisory Committees. Subsequent addition of P. P. Singhal Hall & Conference Hall in 1993, Business Center in 1994, Land For Golden Jubilee Environment Park in 1998 & Technology Center in 1999 have added the Chambers Activities functional efficiency & Societal status.UCCI, the entire structure is air-conditioned & is fully equipped with latest technological facilities like Video Conferencing, internet, e-mail, LCD Projector, Direct Projector, Slide Projector, Over Head Projector etc providing the best resources for any type of Meeting, Conference, Seminar, Workshop, Training Programme in & around Udaipur.
