UCCI is an apex body of Trade, Industry and Tourism in Southern Rajasthan. This region is rich in mineral wealth, geological formation and breathtaking scenic mountains & lakes.

History :

From its humble beginnings in 1947 as Chamber of Commerce, subsequent metamorphosis into an Employer’s Association was conceived by Late Shri PP Singhal of Pesticides India in 1961. Udaipur Industries and Commerce Association was named Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( UCCI) on August 2, 1985. The commitments for industrial growth were firmly planted in this soil by getting registered with Rajasthan Non-trading Companies Act in 1979. Today UCCI has more than 300 members and international infrastructure of modern business centre, air-conditioned buildings ,computer network and databases. It handles world class conferences and exhibitions. It has a well-equipped library of books, periodicals, CDs on local Industry as well as Information technology.

• The wide spectrum of industry and multi-dimensional issues are being constantly tackled at various levels in the government, business houses, associations and by networking with its counterparts all over the country.

• UCCI, as a symbol of importance, has been granted exemption under 80G of IT Act .

• UCCI has taken quantum jump by launching of SDC project.
