APPROVALS FROM:
• As mentioned above, Govt. of Rajasthan has already set apart 50 bighas of
land for setting up Hazardous
Waste Dumping Yard at Gudli, District Udaipur, vide their notification No.S.O.290 dated 1.12.1997.
• RSPCB has already entered into an Agreement with the Trust (Udaipur
Industrial Waste Management &
Research Centre) vide Agreement dated 15th January, 2005 for setting up the facility on the above land.
• RSPCB has already given consent to establish HWMF under Air Act, 1981
vide their approval No. F.16 (147)
RPCB/ Gr.III/Haz/Udaipur/4387 dated 28.7.2005.
• RSPCB has already given consent to establish HWMF under Water Act,
1974 vide their approval No.F.16(147)
RPCB/GR.III.Haz/Udaipur/4387 dated 28.7.2005.
• Approval under public hearing under Rule 8(4) has since been received from
Department of Environment,
Govt. of Rajasthan, vide letter No.F.(1)Env./87
Dated 15th July,2005.
• RSPCB has also given their approval to re-constitute the Board of Trustees
As per need of UCCI, being a
promoter of the project, vide their letter No.F.
16(147) RSPCB/HAZ/Udaipur/Gr.III/804 dt. 19.9.05.
• RSPCB has also given approval vide their letter No.F.16(147)RPCB/HWMR
/Gr.III/1240 dt. 10.10.05 for
interim arrangement for shifting of hazardous
waste from member industries to temporary storage yard at
RIICO Industrial
Area, Gudli, Udaipur and the Operator also started collecting waste from
Member industries
of Bhiwadi, Jaipur, Bhilwara Kota, Dholpur, Jodhpur etc.

APPROVAL OF GUDLI GRAM PANCHAYAT:
• On the request of Gudli Panchayat, about 18 members visited the operative
facility at Mumbai, to get
themselves satisfied about environmental impact
of the facility and they conveyed their satisfaction to the
M.L.A. of the area.
• On getting concurrence from Gudli Panchayat, civil work is now in full
swing at site and landfull facility is almost
ready to accept the waste and swaiting approval from RSPCB. |
